One item. Every place it matters.

Use TreeNote Mirrors to keep one task, note or decision visible in multiple outline branches without copying it or maintaining two versions.

Stop keeping two versions of the same work

Create the item once, then mirror it wherever it needs to be seen. Edit it in either location and the update is reflected everywhere, so your plan stays consistent without extra maintenance.

Move to the second branch and paste with ⌘⇧VBoth places now show the same item. Tick it in one and it is ticked in the other, because there is only one of it.
